AFRICA DOODLE

My sister recently gave me a beautiful Africa-shaped wooden wall art piece made up of blocks of differing heights and colours. I've been looking at it up on my wall for a while now, thinking it would make a great two dimensional print of sorts. A wedding gift for Candice and Steve seemed like the perfect excuse to attempt it. My friend Candice is a South African living with her Swiss partner Steve in Bern, Switzerland and I wanted them to have something which reminded them of their second home. So I sat down with a blank piece of paper and black pen. Four joyful hours of doodling later - this was the result.
